“[T]exas is a state of mind, but I think it is more than that. It is a mystique closely approximating a religion...Texas has a tight cohesiveness perhaps stronger than any other section of America. Rich, poor, Panhandle, Gulf, city, country, Texas is the obsession...” -John Steinbeck ♥️🌾🐂⭐️ There is nothing quite like the open fields of Texas, especially at sun down. Special thanks to @peytonluke707 for assisting in the making of this video and Mr. Isbell for allowing us to capture his “pet” longhorns. 😍🐂 . . . . . #millennial #millennialfashionista #joyfulliving #discoverunder100k #virginiablogger #nordstrom #fallvibes #fallstyle #falllook #bootieseason #texas #texasblogger #southernstyle #southernblogger #kissesbesospupici #dontmesswithtexas #valleyview #longhorns #countryliving #ltkunder100 #ltkshoecrush
Happy Tuesday, friends! This past week, we made it to TX for part of P's fall break. Thankful for the time we spent with family and that we were able to clean out a lot of Parker's childhood room--I am such an organization junkie! Of course, being in the Texas meant we had to spend time with some Longhorns too. There is nothing quite like the open fields of Texas: cattle, hay bells, and good 'ol country living. Parker and I often like to go on runs or walks and take in the stillness; we leave our phones behind and get away from all distractions. These times are so refreshing and so, so good for the soul.
I call today's look "Country Chic"--the stars on my dress and my western-inspired booties were just the perfect touch in the Lone Star state (all fit true to size). I also added my Amazon Chloe dupe--honestly, SUCH a great quality handbag! Though it retails for under $100, it is genuine leather and feels like a purse worth hundreds or even thousands.
